  1. Er, Jim Baikie, believe it or not. http://www.2000ad.org/?zone=prog&page=profiles&choice=342

I'd always thought this was one of Cam's, but Barney knows all (well, a lot). Not sure if Cam did the pencils (I can ask him) or if Baiki was asked to 'do a Cam Kennedy' like Cam was asked to 'do a McMahon' for those Slaine covers and that Angel Gang pin-up.

    1. I saw that credit and thought, Nah, can't be. Jim's work looks totally different. Oh, well let's see if there's a debate.

    2. I'll ask Cam if he remembers and get back to you. Cam previously told me he was asked to draw those Slaine covers he did in a McMahon style (Progs 355, 357 and 358), presumably in order to keep the art consistent with the interior pages, so it's quite possible that a similar thing happened here, with Jim Baikie asked to 'do a Cam' on the cover to match Cam's interior art.

  2. Heh, should have trusted my initial view... Just had word from Cam: "hope you didn't put money on it, David, coz that is indeed one of yours truly's covers." There you go!

    1. I thought Barney must have been a bit out of synch for once!

  3. Can only be by Cam (surely?!)

    1. Yes, it is! Thanks, Steve.
Cam has confirmed it now, there was a credit glitch on the Barney database.
