One of the most prized possessions on my bookshelf. Trans-figurations, featuring one of the world's first 'super models'. Vera Gräfin von Lehndorff-Steinort otherwise known as Veruschka, made her name in the 1960's and was featured in Antonioni's classic film Blow-Up in 1966. By collaborating with artist Holger Trülzsch throughout the 70's they created some classic image manipulations years before Photoshop was a twinkle in anybody's eye, by using her body as a canvas to create chameleon-like transformations and then photographing the results. Innovative for its time, to say the least! Veruschka was more recently seen in the James Bond film Casino Royale
