This Week 26 Years Ago...

From the 2000AD production art collection: Prog #467 - 26th April, 1986.
Art by Cam Kennedy
Colours by Tom Frame

  1. Great stuff, Steve. The Big Sleep is one of my favourite Dredd stories - great humour and wonderful art. I loved the film noir aspects; Flip Marlowe is a classic character and, for me, worked so well partly because he only appeared in this story. One of the pages I've been lucky enough to get from Cam is from this: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=659109&GSub=99158

  2. Really enjoyed Cam Kennedy's Dredd, he really complimented the sideways black humour of Grant/Wagner while not being overly 'cartoony'.
