The English / Phlondrutian Phrasebook

Another 2000AD production cover from my collection. This one for Prog #214, 30th May, 1981.
Writer: Alan Moore, Artist: Brendan McCarthy and colours by Tom Frame.

  1. One of my all-time favourites, that one (you can probably file most of McCarthy's covers under that heading, to be honest). I especially love this one because it transforms the whole cover space into something very special - like Kev O'Neill's Comic Rock and Yesterday's Hero covers... Amazing.

  2. I'm with David there, one of the classics - not to forget Kev's classic Ro-Busters cover where the logo was turned into a building in the background - from prog 112 I think?
