Serge Clerc for NME

I've been sifting through my cuttings file and I found a couple of very nice illustrations by Serge Clerc. These were clipped out of some old NME (New Musical Express) papers from the early 80's. Clerc was well known for his Ligne claire (Clear line) style in France. For more info, Paul Gravett has written a piece about him here...

  1. I loved Serge Clerc's work (still do), and for a while I desperately tried to emulate his brush line.

  2. It just looks so fluid and effortless, doesn't it!
